DragonEye Technology was formed by its managing members: Scott Patterson, President and CEO, Yi Ren, Chief Operating Officer and Lane Mitcham, VP Engineering. The founding team has a wealth of design and production knowledge in the law enforcement electro-optics and imaging fields. We focus on manufacturing and delivering quality products along with timely customer support and service. While providing a core base of products in the law enforcement speed measurement market, we also address the broader electro-optic sensing and imaging market in select areas.
Scott Patterson's depth of knowledge and experience comes from working in the military electro-optics arena. His design and engineering work includes laser rangefinders for vehicle fire control systems, head-up displays for aircraft and automobiles and chemical sensing systems using imaging and differential absorption LIDAR. Mr. Patterson founded and served as President/CEO of both Laser Atlanta Optics, Inc. and LaserCraft, Inc for over 20 years. Through these entities, four generations of police LIDAR and sophisticated automated photo-enforcement systems were developed and produced.
Yi Ren brings DragonEye Technology comprehensive Engineering and IT experience including work with sophisticated database control software, real time machine vision camera control/image processing systems plus management of large scale software design and development programs.
Lane Mitcham has a wealth of experience with hardware/software system design and engineering support. He has led numerous development projects involving embedded hardware design, low noise optical receivers, laser diode control systems, plus a variety of projects involving additional analog and digital designs.
Our key team members have significant experience in engineering, production and service of electro-optical equipment. DragonEye Technology designs, assembles, tests and services its products in the United States.
